Dental Bridges in Turkey: Restore Your Smile with Confidence and Ease
When you lose one or more teeth, it affects not only your appearance but also your ability to chew, speak, and maintain proper oral health. Dental Bridges in Turkey provide a lasting, aesthetic, and function-restoring solution—often at a fraction of the cost you’d pay elsewhere. If you’re seeking world-class expertise, state-of-the-art technology, and a chance to enjoy Turkey’s cultural richness, a dental bridge treatment at a clinic like DentSpa could be the perfect fit.
What Are Dental Bridges?
A dental bridge is a fixed restoration used to replace one or more missing teeth. It “bridges” the gap created by the missing tooth/teeth, using the surrounding healthy teeth or implants as supports. Typically, a bridge consists of:
- Pontic (false tooth/teeth): The prosthetic that fills the gap.
- Abutments (support teeth/implants): The teeth or implants adjacent to the gap, which anchor the bridge with crowns or other support mechanisms.
Dental bridges restore both the functionality (chewing, speaking) and aesthetics of your smile. They’re designed to look natural, blend with your existing teeth, and maintain the alignment and shape of your jaw.
Who Needs Dental Bridges?
- People with Single or Multiple Missing Teeth
- Whether due to decay, trauma, or extractions, a bridge can seamlessly fill the space and protect neighboring teeth.
- Those Seeking a Fixed Alternative to Removable Dentures
- Unlike partial dentures, bridges are cemented or screwed into place, offering enhanced stability and comfort.
- Patients Concerned About Shifting Teeth
- If a gap remains unfilled, adjacent teeth may drift or tilt, leading to bite changes and jaw stress.
- Individuals Wanting an Aesthetic Improvement
- Bridges can close unsightly gaps, restoring a fuller, more natural-looking smile.
If you have healthy abutment teeth or are open to implant placement for support, dental bridges can be a highly effective solution for one or multiple missing teeth.
Why Consider Dental Bridges in Turkey?
- Highly Skilled Dentists and Modern Clinics
- Turkish dental clinics, such as DentSpa, are equipped with cutting-edge technology and staffed by internationally trained professionals.
- Significant Cost Savings
- You can often save 50-70% compared to similar procedures in the US, UK, or Western Europe.
- Multilingual Patient Support
- Many clinics cater specifically to international patients, providing coordination services in English and other languages for a stress-free experience.
- Timely Treatment
- Shorter waiting lists and efficient scheduling allow you to complete your bridge placement quickly.
- Travel and Cultural Experience
- Turn your dental care trip into a memorable journey, discovering Turkey’s rich history and vibrant landscapes.
Types of Dental Bridges
- Traditional Bridges
- The most common type, requiring healthy teeth on both sides of the gap; these are prepared for crowns that support the artificial tooth in between.
- Cantilever Bridges
- Used when only one adjacent tooth is available to serve as an anchor.
- Maryland (Resin-Bonded) Bridges
- Use a metal or porcelain framework bonded behind adjacent teeth, with minimal tooth preparation required.
- Implant-Supported Bridges
- Ideal for patients lacking sufficient natural teeth for support. Dental implants anchor the bridge, offering superior stability.
Your dentist will determine which bridge design suits your oral health, the location of the missing tooth, and your budget.
The Dental Bridge Procedure Step by Step
- Initial Consultation
- Your dentist examines your teeth, gums, and X-rays to confirm your candidacy for a bridge or implants if necessary.
- Tooth Preparation
- If using natural teeth as supports, these “abutment” teeth are shaped to fit crowns. For implant-supported bridges, implants must first be placed and given time to fuse.
- Impressions/Scanning
- A digital or physical mold is taken of your teeth and bite, guiding the lab in crafting a bridge that fits comfortably and aligns with your smile.
- Temporary Bridge
- Often placed while your permanent restoration is being custom-made, protecting prepared teeth and preserving aesthetics.
- Final Placement
- The dentist checks the shape, color, and fit of the new bridge. Once satisfied, it’s permanently cemented or attached, ensuring stable, natural-looking results.
Timeframe: Typically 1–2 visits over 5–7 days, though implant-supported bridges require additional months for implant healing.
Is the Procedure Painful?
Not usually. Local anesthesia numbs the area, preventing discomfort during tooth preparation or implant placement. Minor soreness or sensitivity may occur afterward, but most patients manage it easily with over-the-counter pain relievers. DentSpa’s compassionate team ensures every step remains as comfortable as possible.
Aftercare and Maintenance
- Oral Hygiene: Brush twice daily and use floss or interdental brushes to clean around the bridge, especially underneath the pontic.
- Check-ups: Regular dental exams help monitor the bridge’s condition and detect any early issues such as decay in the abutment teeth.
- Diet: While a bridge restores bite function, be mindful with extremely hard or sticky foods that could stress or loosen the restoration.
- Longevity: With diligent care, a quality dental bridge can last 10–15 years or more.
Travel Recommendations
- Can I travel after the treatment? Yes, though we suggest waiting a day or two for final check-ups, ensuring your bridge is comfortable before exploring or flying out.
- How long should I plan to stay? Most patients stay in Turkey for 5–7 days, sufficient for evaluation, impression-taking, lab work, and final placement.
- Can I get a price estimate before arriving? Absolutely. Providing recent X-rays or digital scans via email allows the clinic to propose a tailored plan and cost estimate.
Why Act Now?
An empty gap can lead to shifting teeth, gum problems, and a compromised bite over time. By investing in a dental bridge, you prevent these complications and reclaim your confidence and quality of life. Early intervention often translates to simpler procedures and better long-term stability.

Frequently asked questions
Am I a candidate for a dental bridge, and how do I start?
If you have one or more missing teeth with healthy adjacent teeth or implants, a dental bridge may be right for you. Simply fill out our inquiry form or get in touch by phone. We’ll gather details about your oral health, discuss your goals, and present a personalized treatment plan. From there, you can review your cost estimate, schedule a trip to Turkey if needed, and begin your path to a stronger, more beautiful smile.
What if I need help after returning home?
We offer post-treatment support via remote consultations, phone, or email to address any concerns. This includes follow-up advice, monitoring bridge stability, and scheduling additional check-ups if needed. Our goal is lasting satisfaction, so you can enjoy your new smile without worry.
Why choose Turkey for dental bridges, and how does DentSpa help?
By coming to Turkey, patients often save up to 70% on costs compared to treatments in the US or UK. At DentSpa, we deliver world-class expertise, advanced facilities, and comprehensive support. Our international patient coordinators handle travel details, from airport pickups to hotel bookings, ensuring your dental journey is smooth and stress-free. We’ll even recommend cultural attractions or local cuisine, making your stay both productive and memorable.
Can I eat normally and travel soon after treatment?
Yes. Dental bridges restore proper chewing function, so you can enjoy a full range of foods. We do recommend initially sticking to softer items for a few days. Traveling is safe as well; once your final bridge is in place, you can usually continue with normal activities. Our team will provide any specific post-care instructions if you plan to fly soon after.
How do I care for my dental bridge over the long term?
Caring for your dental bridge is much like caring for natural teeth:
• Brush twice a day with a non-abrasive toothpaste,
• Floss carefully around the bridge using specialized floss or interdental brushes,
• Attend regular check-ups to ensure proper fit and detect any early issues,
• Avoid chewing excessively hard items (like ice) that might stress the bridge.
What is the procedure like, step by step?
1. Initial Consultation & Exam: We assess your oral health, discuss your goals, and possibly take X-rays or impressions.
2. Preparation: The adjacent teeth are shaped to support crowns (unless you choose an implant-supported bridge).
3. Impressions: We create molds of your teeth so the bridge is fabricated to fit accurately and match your bite.
4. Temporary Bridge: A provisional restoration is placed to protect your prepared teeth while the lab crafts your permanent bridge.
5. Final Fitting & Cementation: Once your custom-made bridge is ready, we remove the temporary and bond the permanent bridge in place, checking comfort and fit.
What types of dental bridges does DentSpa offer?
We customize treatment plans based on your unique needs, offering:
• Traditional bridges supported by crowns on the neighboring teeth,
• Cantilever bridges for situations where only one tooth is adjacent to the gap,
• Implant-supported bridges that anchor to dental implants for added stability.
Our dentists guide you to the best option depending on how many teeth are missing, jawbone density, and personal preferences.
Is the dental bridge procedure painful or uncomfortable?
Not at all. We perform the procedure under local anesthesia, ensuring minimal discomfort as the adjacent teeth are prepared and the new bridge is fitted. While some mild soreness or sensitivity can occur afterward, it’s typically manageable with over-the-counter pain relievers. Our team also provides tips on mitigating any post-treatment sensitivity.
How long do dental bridges usually last, and do they look natural?
With good oral hygiene, dental bridges commonly last 10–15 years or longer. At DentSpa, we use materials like ceramic or porcelain that match the color, shape, and size of your natural teeth, creating a seamless appearance. Proper brushing, flossing, and regular check-ups are key to maximizing their lifespan and maintaining their aesthetic appeal.
What is the difference between dental implants and bridges?
Dental implants use a single pillar to support the crown, while bridges require two adjacent teeth to be prepared as supports.

Smooth Crown Experience
April 9, 2025
I had an amazing experience with Dr Berkay and their team. I recently got a crown placed, and they made the entire process smooth, comfortable, and stress-free Mr Mounaim and Mr Faysal were professional, knowledgeable, and always responsive—taking the time to explain complex ideas in a way that was easy to understand. What really stood out was their ability to see the bigger picture while still paying attention to the small details that make a big difference. I highly recommend this place

Exceptional Dental Experience

Cannot say enough positive things about this dental practice. After traveling from America for an arranged appointment with another place that treated me horribly, tried to convince me to get veneers and then refused to do any of the work I was there for they left me out on the street no knowing what to do. I found this place and sent them a WhatsApp message someone immediately called me, I let him know I did not want cosmetic work and he assured me they will do whatever I needed. They took me in the same day! Got x rays done right away and started working on my teeth the same evening. The practice is extremely clean and modern. Everyone that works there is professional and very nice. They did exactly everything I needed done, found some other issues I was not aware of as well. They were not pushy at all. As far as the work I got 3 implants done a wisdom tooth pulled multiple fillings and they removed my old black filling as well as a cleaning. The pain was very minimal. The after care was thoughtful. It’s now 3 months later and I’m very satisfied with the work every thing healed so well my teeth are clean and more white without replacing any natural teeth. I cannot express how appreciative and thankful I am that I found this place I was lost in Istanbul left stranded by the other practice and they immediately made me feel at home and felt like I was in good hands. I am going back in August to get my crowns installed and I genuinely cannot wait to see all the people who helped me there.

Excellent Dental Experience
March 25, 2025
My wife and I found DentSpa while searching online in Australia. We were impressed by the reviews and decided to make our first visit to Turkey and to get major dental work done. We needed crowns to protect damaged and chipped teeth. We have been very impressed with every part of the process. The initial engagement online, the coordination while in Turkey and the excellent quality of the dental work. Leo, Dr Madena, Faisal and Sanae made our experience first class. We will now explore Turkey with new teeth and bring back great memories.
