After dealing with many years of failed dental work from an accident, I was completely fed up with the run around I kept getting from several dentists in the US! I started researching my options abroad, as I knew the dental practice in my area was just not up to par for the serious nature of my situation. I came to the conclusion that to reach the level I set out to achieve, I was going to have to go to the area with the highest success and the best current dental practices and technologies. DentSpa, in Istanbul Turkey had the best success stories and the most options available to me. I reached out and was immediately set up with an advisor that walked me through these options and quickly came up with a general treatment plan. Although the treatment plan was in place, I was made aware by my advisor, Ahmet, that this could indeed change upon arrival, as he was basing this off a 3 year old Xray and just a few photos. He did a great job explaining the entire process, start to finish, and also advised on the different materials available to me. Having the natural, authentic look of real teeth was VERY important to me along with nothing being able to be removable or able to move around. I arrived in Istanbul and was picked up from the airport by their driver and taken to a very nice hotel. I went the next morning for my in person consultation. Once we worked through the options and agreed upon the final treatment plan, the work started immediately. I had surgery that day and had all of the required under skin hardware put into place. I will have to return in 7 months to get the final crowns but I was aware the second visit is part of the procedure from the very start. I am very happy with how the entire process works, they really make you feel like you are their only patient! That is very important to me because in the US I kept getting dentists that wanted to way over charge me and then rush me right through like a number. I never got that vibe at all from DentSpa or anyone associated with them. I am done with the first part of this journey and have to let all the bone grafting heal before I come back in 7 months for all the final crowns and it can not come fast enough! I met a lot of people while here that are here for varying levels of dental work so I got to see a handful of them receiving their final crowns and I have yet to find anyone that wasn’t the happiest they have ever been. It is so reassuring seeing them come in to the hotel wearing their new, happy smiles!

Beautiful place. The doctors, Ahmed and Elif, were great. The Endodontist, Dr. Ahmed, was quite gentle and thorough, while checking up on me every step of the way. Dr. Elif is not just a prosthodontist but a craftswoman. The crown feels great and looks so as well. And Mounaim, my coordinator, was very friendly and made sure to answer whatever questions I had. It was a very good experience treating one molar with a root canal (the doctor noticed that the canals were not properly filled and I had an infection, which I was not previously aware of). Besides taking care of the details regarding the substantive information at every stage of treatment about what exactly we would do and why, I had the opportunity to decide myself whether I wanted the basic plan with a lower price, which was sent to me before my trip to Istanbul, or better quality crowns and additional so-called ‘fiber post’ (which I consciously decided on, as I care about quality). I was able to experience relaxation during such demanding treatment and the associated stress, such as a spa mask, a massage on the chair, and relaxing music flowing from the speakers. I remember that what was very important every day were the very helpful and smiling people, the cleaning lady, the doctor, and the drivers🙂.

To było bardzo dobre doświadczenie leczenia 1 zęba trzonowego kanałowo ( pan doktor zauważył, że kanały nie były odpowiednio wypełnione i miałam infekcję, o czym nie wiedziałam wcześniej). Poza dbaniem o szczegóły odnośnie merytorycznego informowania mnie na każdym etapie leczenia co dokładnie będziemy robili i dlaczego, miałam okazję sama zdecydować czy chcę plan podstawowy z niższą ceną, który został mi przesłany przed podróżą do Stambułu czy też lepszej jakości korony a do nich dodatkowe tzw. “fiber post”( na co świadomie zdecydowałam się, gdyż zależy mi na jakości), miałam okazję doznać relaksacji przy tak wymagającym leczeniu a tym samym związanym z tym stresem, takich jak w spa maseczka, masaż na fotelu, muzyka relaksacyjna, która płynie z głośników. Pamiętam o tym co było bardzo ważne każdego dnia, bardzo pomocni i uśmiechnięci ludzie, pani sprzątająca, pan doktor, kierowcy🙂 .
